Jewelry Care
Be mindful when wearing your jewelry around harsh lotions, cleaning agents, beauty products and water. Bronze and sterling silver naturally oxidize over time. Moisture can accelerate bronze oxidation and cause skin discoloration. We recommend removing bronze jewelry before washing hands, showering or swimming. When necessary, gently clean your jewelry with soft cotton or microfiber cloth. To keep your jewelry in pristine condition, we recommend storing it in an airtight plastic bag, in a cool, dry place to discourage tarnishing.
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is a durable high-quality metal composed of 92.5% pure silver. Sterling Silver is hypoallergenic and it does not contain base metals like zinc and nickel which can cause skin irritation. About 75% of our sterling silver line is made from either recycled or reclaimed sterling silver.
Bronze
Our bronze styles are made from a high quality Italian bronze alloy. Bronze is an alloy that consists of a mixture of copper and tin, approximately 90% copper and 10% tin. The bronze alloy includes an anti-tarnish compound. Nevertheless, bronze naturally oxidizes over time. Moisture can accelerate the process and cause skin discoloration. We recommend removing bronze jewelry before washing hands, showering or swimming. To maintain a shiny bright finish for as long as possible, store your bronze away from the air in a ziplock plastic bag and keep it as dry as possible.
Solid 14K Gold
14K solid gold is a mixture of 58.3% pure gold and other metals like copper, silver, and zinc, which are added to increase its strength and durability. Our solid 14K gold jewelry is made in the USA and is nickel free. Solid 14K gold is hypoallergenic and is is best for the most sensitive skin. When necessary, gently clean your jewelry with soft cotton or microfiber cloth.
Gold Fill
Our gold filled items are 5% gold by weight. They are manufactured with 1/20th 14K gold, meaning, it is 5% 14K gold by weight with a brass inner core. The 14K gold is permanently bonded over a core of base metal using heat and pressure. Our gold filled items are lead and nickel free.
